Autumn 2009
SCM runs its session based on a yearly theme. This year, our theme poses the question "What is..?". In our Christian lives, we find there are often questions that appear simple, yet have complex, multi-dimensional, or elusive answers. By taking a set of simple questions, we will explore, and reflect upon, the diverse meanings behind everyday concepts in Christianity. What, for instance, do we truly mean when we speak of Evangelism, and can it really be held that there is 'Christian Thinking'?
These sessions will be led by a range of people, from different demominations and vocations. The hope is that through this course, we can come to a better understanding of what it means to be a follower of Christ in our modern world.
